Emergency Response Team Formulated by: Emergency Response Team & Emergency Management HazMat Sub-Commitee Effective Date: October 30, 2001 Purpose: To establish a written Standard Operating Procedure for the Emergency Response Team at Medical Center Hospital to provide an effective plan of operations in compliance with 29 CFR 1910.120. Objective: To establish a Standard Operating Plan (SOP)Manual for the operation of the Emergency Response Team (ERT), in compliance with 29 CFR 1910.120 and other applicable required and recommended procedures for the operation of teams designed to provide emergency response for incidents involving hazardous materials.
